This big dad is ready to unleash some #BigDadEnergy. Rather than doomscrolling job prospects, I’ve joined the team at Dads for Kamala (dadsforkamala.com), taking a leadership role in social and brand strategy. We’re a diverse, unified, national coalition of dads doing whatever it takes to elect Vice President Harris, while also challenging her opponents’ dangerous version of masculinity, where men yell about everything but stand for nothing. Our goal: knock on 1 million doors for Harris-Walz, led by a 1,000-strong “DadCorps” made up of volunteers committed to a future where ALL of our kids can belong and thrive. The moms have been stepping up — just search social channels and you’ll find mom-centric organizing groups everywhere — but the dads must, and will, answer the call this time.
