WHAT MAKES YOU TICK & BE SUCCESSFUL Ask this question to a 1,000 people and you will get a host of answers ranging from hard work to networking to relationships to destiny to intelligence to growth mindset, but hardly any one talks what drives success.   These answers are not wrong, but only partially true; while some are not actions but resultants of actions.    We live in two worlds simultaneously – the inner world and the outer world.   From the growth / success standpoint   1)     What defines our inner world are our strengths and weaknesses; and   2)     What defines our outer world are the opportunities and threats that it presents to us.   We tick and are successful when our inner world harnesses its strengths (skills, knowledge, strategies, processes, resources, values and relationships) in such a manner that it gets into a position to serve the needs of the external world. These needs present themselves to us as opportunities.   This leads to a hand shake and mutual value addition between us and the outer world where our success and growth happen.     This internal world’s strengthening is a continuous process, as the external world is constantly changing.   I am reminded of a popular saying “IF YOU ARE NOT GROWING YOU ARE DYING”   I would love to know your thoughts.   #breakinggrowthbarriers #leadership #businessgrowth #organizationdevelopment #mindfulness #coaching #success
