Congratutalions to Junlin Yang, Larry Staib and James Duncan and all the other co-authors on our new paper on a novel Prior knowledge-guided and Transformer-based Unsupervised Domain Adaptation (PUDA) framework to predict patient intubation within a week based on chest CT and X-ray images. By embedding anatomical and spatial prior knowledge into transformer attention heads, the approach improves prediction accuracy and interpretability and surpasses radiologists and existing methods in domain adaptation performance. https://lnkd.in/edtg5sQ4

I am glad to share the recently published paper in Nonlinearity, a joint work with M. Bendahmane and K. Karlsen, introducing and analyzing a system of nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs) of mixed elliptic-parabolic type that models the propagation of electric signals and their effect on the deformation of cardiac tissue.

Come check out my poster this Wednesday if you're in Boston for MRS! I'm presenting on-going work with Dr. Vivian Santamaría García and advised by Dr. Svetlana Boriskina on the opto-electronic response of the nodal line semimetal PbTaSe2, a topological material. Our study aims to uncover the effects of symmetry breaking and spin-orbit coupling in nodal line semimetals on light-matter interactions, as well as their potential applications in IR/THz photodetection.
