Just had a firsthand encounter with AI reshaping our daily interactions. Needed to reach out to Notion’s support. So, I quickly voiced my request using OpenAI’s Mac desktop app (highly recommend it, by the way). Seconds later, an AI MailBot replies, autonomously handling my inquiry. Basically, two AIs just chatted indirectly :) AI is becoming the new layer between us-automating the mundane so we can focus on what truly matters. As more people hop on the AI train, our workflows are bound to transform. And yes, the AI did forward my ticket to a human in the end. So, human connection isn’t dead just yet ;)

Google’s New AI in Chrome: A Game-Changer! Introducing Project Mariner—an AI that’s transforming the way we use Chrome. Here’s how it’s making waves: 1️⃣ Task Automation Like Never Before Project Mariner can: Navigate websites Fill out forms Click buttons Even create shopping carts on grocery sites based on your list 🛒 2️⃣ Real-Time User Interaction The AI works right in your active browser tab. No background tasks here—users stay in control and observe the AI in action. 3️⃣ Security Comes First For sensitive tasks like purchases or personal info, Mariner asks for user confirmation. Plus, no credit card info or cookies are processed. 4️⃣ Testing Results In tests with the WebVoyager benchmark, Project Mariner boasts an 83.5% success rate for completing real-world web tasks. However, it's still a bit slow, with delays between actions. 5️⃣ Research Prototype Currently, Mariner is in the research phase, being tested by a select group of users. 🔄 Share this post to spread the word about the future of AI! #spreadsheet #google #microsoftexcel #googlesheets #productivitytool #ai #artificalintelligence #remotework

As AI technology becomes increasingly accessible, even through web browsers, it can sometimes be challenging to know what to ask. It’s akin to a writer facing a blank page. I’ve discovered that Copilot Labs offers an excellent starting point for understanding and utilizing Copilot, and the insights provided can be adapted to other similar tools as well. While much of the information covers basic knowledge, it offers valuable suggestions and ideas to help users understand the full potential of AI. From summarizing essays to creating practice quizzes for study purposes, these are no longer the old and simple "Hey Google/Alexa/Siri" helpers. https://lnkd.in/eBxJKYv6

Interesting question... Spoiler, the talk claims that 𝒚𝒆𝒔, it's usually easier for AI Agents to hack their way through existing UIs -- rather than using current-generation APIs. To begin with, not all apps are "API-first", lots of features relevant to users (and their Agents) are "UI-only". And when the APIs exist, it's a developer hell to understand how to orchestrate them. I can't disagree.

Oprah in the Age of AI: You get an agent. You get an agent. YOU get an agent! Google announced yesterday their new research prototype, Project Mariner, as a Chrome extension available to a small group of testers. Watch this video as an example of how this works. Many large AI companies have either launched or will be launching agents of their own soon. Anthropic's Claude launched one in October and OpenAI plans to launch one in the new year. This shift is moving us from user Q&A style interactions with AI to more AI self-directed mechanisms. Brave new world, indeed. #ai #google #agent

Open AI does it again!🤯 I was really excited when I heard about OpenAI's announcement of GPT4o!! A new model that's twice as fast as GPT4 and outperforms even GPT4 Turbo. What caught my attention is that they're offering it for free! So most users like can experience GPT4 level capabilities! Along with the impressive speed boost I find it amazing that GPT4o brings features that were previously only for paid users like browsing, data analysis, image & file uploads, and a GPT store. It'll also be available as an API at 50% cheaper pricing. But what really blew my mind are the voice abilities. From what I've seen is GPT4o can have expressive conversations, emoting through its voice and even singing! The voice demo video showed almost zero delay which makes it feel like real face-to-face chat. For now, the desktop app is Mac-only. As a Windows user, I'm eagerly waiting for their version later this year. I believe doubling GPT4's speed and affordability could massively boost AI application development. And those voice capabilities have immense potential for more natural interactions that I'm really excited about. In my opinion this is an exciting step towards AI assistants that can truly multitask and augment our digital lives. I can't wait to get my hands on the GPT4o API and see what innovative solutions we can build with it! #AI #Gamechanger #Artificialintelligence

A lot of people tend to think of these AI systems as just supercharged search engines, kind of like Google on steroids. They're not picturing them as the robots from sci-fi movies, but more like a tool that digs up info and serves it up in a helpful way. It's like they see genAI as a digital librarian that pulls out the books you need without you having to roam the aisles. This view really focuses on how handy these tools are for getting the lowdown on stuff. They're not just pulling things out of a hat, they're actually pretty smart about sorting through heaps of data to find what's relevant. But this doesn't mean they're dreaming up new ideas or getting creative on their own. They're more about making our lives easier by fetching the facts we're after, quick and efficient-like.

Recently, I shared a post about Anthropic’s new AI agent, Computer Use, and now OpenAI is entering the game with its upcoming tool, codenamed "Operator." According to the Bloomberg article, Operator (set to launch in January) aims to automate tasks like booking travel, completing multi-step actions in a web browser with user minimal supervision - very similar to Computer Use. There seems to be a growing momentum behind agent AI across the industry. OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, and Google are all racing to bring these agents to life. The focus is shifting from building bigger models to creating practical, easier-to-use tools that deliver real-world value.
