This course provided a broad overview of several important areas in Malware Analysis, including: -Basic Dynamic Analysis: Procmon, Process Explorer, Apate DNS -Architecture and Memory: Assembly Language -C Constructs in x86 Assembly -Windows Malware Analysis -Advanced Static Analysis: IDA PRO -Debugger Tools: OLLY DBG -Specific Functionalities of Common Malware -General Malware Functionalities -Review of Key Malware Analysis Concepts

Keylogger: Software or hardware that records keystrokes to capture sensitive information like passwords and credit card details. Prevent using anti-malware tools and keeping systems updated. Metasploit:An open-source framework for developing and executing exploits to test system vulnerabilities. Used in penetration testing and cybersecurity assessments. Backdoor: A method for bypassing authentication to gain unauthorized system access. Often used maliciously to control systems and steal data. Prevent by maintaining strong security measures and regular system audits.
