Glad to have participated at the recently concluded 13th Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) with the theme: "Building Our Multi-Stakeholder Digital Future for Africa" hosted by United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) at the historic city of Addis Ababa. The forum brought together various stakeholders (government, civil society, academia, private sector and the technical community) to engage in meaningful dialogue and collaboration on matters concerning Internet governance. AfIGF featured several sessions on vital areas such as digital inclusion, digital trade and data governance, cyber capacity building, cyber diplomacy and norms, gender inclusion, etc. I also had the opportunity of co-facilitating the session on "Enhancing African Cooperation on Cybersecurity Resilience" alongside Global Forum on Cyber Expertise (GFCE) with other seasoned professionals on the panel. The session explored strategies for strengthening regional cooperation in tackling cyber security challenges in Africa. A time well-spent at Addis Ababa. Connected with many great minds. Hope to continue the conversation on building a cyber-resilient digital Africa. Grateful for the support from my colleagues from KPMG Nigeria John A. , Rypson Ugwuzor, Ikechukwu Duru, Joel Oguamhenlu, Mary Similoluwa Adebanjo.
