Hi, my name is Slide McIver. I work at Samsung Semiconductor Europe and I am in the automotive sales team and I started working in automotive around 2007. I've had a kind of varied career, but the main focus has been technology and automotive. It says space that I feel comfortable in. It's really interesting and actually semiconductors are even more interesting than other aspects of technology. And I think technology is always underpinned automotive industry, even just let's say from a mechanical point of view some home more than 100 years ago in terms of how technology is driving the change, it's it's extremely fast now, you know, two degrees that we're not really considered possible. I think people talked about them as being a possible reality. And now we're getting to levels of automation, which we have already in the cars that we can see. But the plans and things that we're working on with our customers here, it's actually to a completely new level. What we have a Samsung is a really great product mix that we can promote to our customers in kind of like a full package solution. I think gender is important because women are underrepresented in automotive. People talk about it like this. They say I was in a meeting and I was the only woman and that that's a very negative thing. Don't perceive it personally as a negative thing. I think it's great that I'm a woman and an amino meeting and if I happen to be the only one, OK, let's get some more women in. But it's not necessarily a negative. And you have to also think about what culture is the company. From in which you are working, there's a lot of focus on building networks for women. And I've been involved in some of these networks overtime in different countries. And I think that they're really positive. And it feels like, you know, if you go to a day which is all about empowering you as you happen to be a woman, but it's empowering you, you know, you're kind of feel like at the end of the day, like, wow, you know, I can't do anything. And that's really, yeah, that's really nice and I really enjoyed that. And I appreciate that because if you're in any group, you could, it could be gender, it could be anything else. So gender is just one aspect. What I find very positive at Samsung is that the management is very clear that they want to improve the gender balance here. And I think that's really great. And there are lots of things that we can look at in terms of, you know, getting a balance. And so gender isn't the only thing, but I think it's important to to focus on it. Anyone who wants to get into a career, if they have the skills, if they have the qualifications, there's no reason that they should be successful. And in Germany in particular, there's a lot of very kind of positive feeling towards hiring more women in the automotive industry. It's an area that needs to be improved. I can see, especially in the car manufacturers, a very, you know, large presence of women and initiatives within them and also in the marketplace or in in kind of organizations around. Young women. So yeah, I'm, I'm very positive about the current status and also the future.
