'But no one is booking hotels through TikTok.' Wrong! Adobe found that 64% of Gen Z and 49% of millennials have used TikTok as a search engine, most likely due to the platform’s authenticity and ease of use. While there isn't a concrete, publicly available percentage of people booking hotels directly through TikTok, it's undeniable that the platform has emerged as a significant influencer in travel decisions. I loved being served this ad from Meliá Hotels International in particular. Why I loved it: - There was an inclusion of a discount led offer to hook the viewer. - Captivating lifestyle video to sell the notion of verano to you. - A visual display of a variety of the hotels offerings, from the private areas to relax in to the beautiful views. - The use of voice over to enhance storytelling. - A clear CTA button to drive bookings. If your audience are on TikTok you should be too! What did you think of this ad? #tiktokforhotels #luxurymarketing #socialmedia ______________________________________ We are The Agency for Hospitality. | Follow For Digital Sakes | Visit www.fordigitalsakes.com 🎥✨| Set the 🔔 for me in the 🔝 right

Best Practices for Holiday Posting as a Brand Today's the 4th of July, and you'll see countless brands posting static, celebratory posts. Are these part of a successful social media strategy? Or are they just mindless fillers (i.e., a waste of time)? Holidays offer a unique opportunity to connect with your audience on a deeper level, but it's essential to approach these occasions thoughtfully. Here are some best practices to ensure your holiday posts resonate and align with your brand's story and values: 🎆 Find Your Angle: Reflect on how the holiday ties into your brand's narrative. Rather than just capitalizing on the occasion, identify aspects of the holiday that resonate with your brand’s mission and vision. Whether it's community, gratitude, or innovation, find the connection that feels authentic. 🎆 Stay Authentic: Your audience can sense when a message is genuine. Share stories, values, or traditions that truly reflect your brand. This authenticity builds trust and strengthens your relationship with your audience. 🎆 Add Value: Think about how your holiday post can add value to your audience's experience. This could be through sharing useful tips, offering special promotions, or highlighting how your products or services can enhance their holiday celebrations. 🎆 Visual Appeal: Make your posts visually engaging. Use high-quality images, videos, or graphics that capture the essence of the holiday and your brand’s personality. 🎆 Engage and Interact: Holidays are a great time to engage with your audience. Encourage them to share their own stories, photos, or traditions. Respond to comments and messages to foster a sense of community. 🎆 Plan Ahead: Prepare your holiday content in advance. This allows you to craft thoughtful messages and high-quality visuals, ensuring a seamless execution when the holiday arrives. By aligning your holiday posts with your brand's story and values, you not only celebrate the occasion but also strengthen your brand's identity and connection with your audience. Happy holiday and happy posting!

As brand storytellers, we often find ourselves in a relentless pursuit of the next viral sensation, the next catchy tagline.
