This is SO important. Sales success is not solely based off individual contribution, but also team support & morale. How are the leaders engaging the team and supporting them to leverage and grow their key account base? Insight into that is directly attached to quota achievement. If 90% of the team is performing at expectation, you can expect the outliers to be lacking individually & make an educated assumption.

Founder led sales only works for so long. Your first sales hire is key. You need someone that can find their own leads, close deals, and build playbooks and processses. Hiring your first sales rep is different than hiring your 4th or 5th rep and needs to be done right. I’ve hired a million 1st sales reps and know what to look for in a candidate.
