Here's how self-reflection helped me gain clarity in my life and design a career I truly love: As a former manager at work and a mom, it was easy to get caught up in the daily grind and lose sight of who I am and what truly matters to me. Most of the day, I'd think about work, at home, my child, and my home routine. This continued until I realized that I hadn't thought a dime about myself during the day. What did I want? What do I like? Who am I? I started to reflect at the end of each day on what I did, what brought me joy, and what drained my energy. Eventually, I started journaling every day at 6 am. Here are the benefits I gained: 👉🏻I defined what truly matters to me in my life. 👉🏻I identified my natural talents and abilities that I had overlooked. 👉🏻I became aware of limiting beliefs and patterns holding me back. 👉🏻I set meaningful goals: I aligned my career aspirations with my authentic self. 👉🏻I discovered my passions: I reconnected with activities and interests that ignite my soul. Ready to embark on your self-reflection journey? You can start by dedicating just a few minutes each day to connect with yourself. Journal, meditate, or simply pause to ask yourself: 'What truly matters to me?' Take the time to reflect. It's an investment in your future.

Here’s an experiment for 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, to prove that your mind attracts your reality. Wanna play? Good 👍🏻 The image below is insignificant to you. Not likely one you see in your every day. But you’re about to. This image, or a variation of it, will reappear somewhere for you in the next 3️⃣ days. How? Because you just set the intention. Set it in motion - simply by thinking you’re going to see it. So you will. 🤪 Woo-Woo? ❌ Nope 🎉 Woo-Hoo The magic that makes this happen? Releasing your attachment to the outcome. Because a. You don’t really believe me - and - b. You don’t really care if you DO see it So…you’re going to forget. This insignificant scroll on LinkedIn. Allowing you to release any energetic attachment you have to an outcome. Then you’ll see it. Come back and tell me when you do. And 🅦🅗🅔🅡🅔 it reappears—> that’s the cool part 😎 ——————————————————————— I’m Jennifer Hargis⚡️ , a spiritual life and career coach. How much self-reflection is too much? How healthy is "self-reflection?" I admit there is a balance to be struck, because our lived experience seems to confirm that… "We do not learn from experience... we learn from reflecting on experience." ~ John Dewey. And yes, you can overdo it. This happens when moments of self-reflection are no longer self-accepting.The current research tells us that human beings do have a "negativity bias." So we do have to be careful to not become attached to what might see in ourselves and create a fixed identity—a way of knowing ourselves as not enough, not good enough or not having enough. Yet self-reflection is key to self-acceptance. They are sides of the same coin and are both necessary if we are to grow. We are growing evolving beings, who have the ability to look back on ourselves with grace and love, and to learn lessons in the present from what happened for us in the past. Imagine with me for a moment that at each stage of life you travel along five paths to experience being fully HEARD, FREE, SEEN, FELT and HELD, just the way you are. If this rings true for you today, I have a gift for you! It is a SELF-REFLECTION GUIDE designed to support you as you reflect on where you are now, on your journey along each of these five pathways. Use it carefully and share it with friends. It is a wonderful way for friends to share where they are in their life journey now and how they might need to be supported. Think of each statement in this Guide as a “provocation” to help you find your unique edge—where you stop, and where you can choose to begin again. Purpose is such an important aspect of life, a lot of people don’t feel fulfilled until they discover purpose. 🔸It’s important however to mention the purpose that I am talking about here is in reference to one of the two types of purpose, it’s a part of my teachings and precepts. 🔸There is: 1) Convenient Purpose: In this type of purpose you manufacture it, in the sense that it involves creating a purpose by finding a 'why' behind an activity. It's about making an activity meaningful by attaching a deeper significance to it. 2) Pre-destined purpose - In this type of you discover rather than manufacture or create. It will typically involve you uncovering a purpose that is believed to be preordained or naturally aligned with one's life path. This purpose is typically found through self-reflection, life experiences, or a sense of calling. ✅The purpose being discussed in this video is what I call the Convenient purpose, please take note. Hope you love this video, Feel Free to repost, if you love it🔥 Should I drop more videos? #purpose

What’s the role of the mind in your life? From a young age, we are taught to 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼. There is little conversation ever about 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Yet, we have had those moments when intuition kicks in, we hear it and we 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄. The mind is so important. It stores all the data and processes experiences so that you can label and conduct tasks. It’s excellent at focusing and conducting itself based on past experiences and stored information. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙩 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬. Therefore... 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙙𝙤𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢? Where does your ability lie to look at a situation through an entirely new lens and know what to do? If you look through your mind, you will only find repetition of strategy. But if you look elsewhere, you may find a whole new space of knowing. For most of us, this will be uncomfortable and there will be resistance because of a lack of familiarity. There is fear. We have been conditioned to trust our minds above all else. But take a second and recognize the balance of mind and intuition and the role of each in our life. As you navigate life's personal and professional challenges, whether starting a new business, or relationship or finding new strategies for work difficulties, how much time are you spending trying to repeat the same old, just hoping for new results? How can you step out of your 𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙩 to discover something new?

I admit LinkedIn doesn't seem like the right forum for introducing these concepts--but I'm feeling the urge. Changing how we breathe is VERY important if we choose to change our life experience and change how we see ourselves and others. Why? Because when we make it a habit to breathe deeply we become and stay more present. And in this moment of presence we gain access to abilities and wisdom and perspective we just don't have when we're thinking, stuck in our minds, etc. (Please breathe that in deeply! There's a lot there to "get"!) Also, we need to know that anything we focus on that we don't like...we get more of. That experience persists and persists no matter how much we resist and hate it. So a great way to live is stop resisting what we don't like. See if we can be neutral about it. Observe it only, without judgment. Suggestion: Relax your body (esp. your stomach muscles) and breathe deeply into the abdomen and focus only on what you desire...letting go of judgment, resisting and denial and all those behaviors that don't--and never have--worked for us. I hope you'll just consider what's here. It's useful! 😉 William (Bill)

I took a 3 week break to figure out what I want to do with my life. Here's how I did it: 1) Simplified my lifestyle and routine Only did work I had to do, worked out, ate and slept. 2) Found inspiration from others Studied my mentors and identified why I look up to them. 3) Levelled up my introspection Started an audio journal about my experiences and challenges. After 3 weeks, I uncovered my true life aspirations and found my path forward. Now I am back taking the first steps to make it happen. What are you doing to reassess your life?

Life is a lot like a camera—your perspective shapes the picture you create. Focus on what truly matters. Whether it's your goals, relationships, or dreams, let your attention be sharp and intentional. Blur out the noise and distractions. Capture every moment. Life is full of fleeting moments of joy, love, and laughter. Treasure them like snapshots in your memory. You'll be glad you did. Develop from the negatives. Just like photos, life’s struggles can bring clarity and beauty when processed with patience and purpose. Embrace failures—they're part of the masterpiece. And if things don’t work out, take another shot. Every new day offers fresh opportunities to try again, adjust the angle, and create a better picture. Your life is a gallery in progress. Make it one worth showcasing and enjoy every bit of it. I hope you have learned something. #PersonalGrowth #MindsetMatters
