Certified Public Accountancy has 3 basic pillars: Eligibility Examination Experience + Ethics Let’s understand the First Pillar…! ELIGIBILITY: - A candidate must have a bachelor's Degree or equivalent to enrol in the CPA certification. - Basic Eligibility Criteria: 120 Education Hours/credits to be eligible to sit for the exam and 150 Education Hours/credits to be eligible for Licensing certification after clearing all four exams. - This Eligibility requirements may differ from state to state. - How do you know if you have required Educational Credits/hours? Indian university education lasts three years, equivalent to 30 semester credits in the U.S., or 90 credits total. This means you need: 3 years of Bachelor + Minimum 1 years of Master = 30 semester credits/year = 120 Credits 3 years of Bachelor + 2 years of Master = 30 semester credits/year = 150 credits - Which course combinations work for this Certification?
