I believe everyone deserves financial security. Not just the wealthy. Not just the elites. Not just some. EVERYONE. This month, I officially joined Finseca. Finseca advocates for financial professionals to help them reach more clients and help provide them better outcomes. At their core, they advocate with the country's key policymakers to ensure the laws align with how financial professionals can best impact the most people in the best way. You may be wondering... Why would they need an advocate for this? Well, here's why. As financial professionals, may of us get paid when clients implement investment, insurance or annuity products. It is largely debated whether this is a good or bad thing. On one side, it incentivizes professionals to help clients actually take action. On the other hand, it could incentivize a product someone may not really need to be implemented by some bad actors. My personal opinion? If financial professionals were not incentivized for their clients to implement financial products SO many more consumers would be underinvested, underinsured, and less financially secure. I'll be the first to agree that there are bad actors who product-push and they will get what's coming their way. But for the vast majority, it is good to have incentives aligned for people to take action to improve their financial lives. This is inherently why I believe so strongly in Finseca's mission and why I decided to join this month. Transparency, ethics and inclusion are critical to act with as a financial professional. Without them, it doesn't matter how someone gets paid, there will always be bad actors. If you're a financial advisor looking to grow your career and push the profession forward, consider checking out Finseca!
Do they also advocate for more personal finance to be taught in school? If people grew up knowing the value of said products, they would seek them out which would greatly change the perception of the people who facilitate the products use.
Congrats and yes if everyone had a chance at this would be great for all. Everyone deserves to feel that security in there lives and generations to come
There are two must haves in life that everyone should work for, financial security and freedom.
Financial security isn’t just for the wealthy. It’s for everyone. Sure, there are bad actors in every field, but incentives aren’t the enemy. They push clients to take action, and without them, too many people would be underinsured or underinvested. P.S. Transparency and ethics matter more than ever. Let’s keep it real. Mando
Wholeheartedly agree with you. Taking action is hands-down, the most important aspect of our job people get advice constantly and it’s not helpful without the commitment and accountability to take action.
Continuing to crush it ... No surprise here.
