RAG What it was: A rag was a simple cloth material used to clean or protect items within a specific area. Practical, and one could say limited / limitless uitility. What it is today: RAG now (also) stands for Retrieval-Augmented Generation, a transformative approach in AI that combines retrieval systems and generative models. By fetching relevant, context-rich information and combining it with generative AI capabilities, RAG ensures responses are more accurate, grounded, and tailored. The space really challenges you and language I guess? lol.
