All my life I have heard showing up to an event matters the most. But over time, I've realised that it’s never just about the event itself, but the moments in between your to and fro journey that shape your thoughts and actions. Imagine you showed up. Okay great, now what? You're suddenly low on energy, exhausted and shy. Why does this happen? Because in the event you're so busy being someone, listening to others that you barely get time to process what you're learning, what you're responding and what you're gonna act on next. So what can you do? - Make use of your to-fro journey. It's only before the event that you get to set your mood right, get time to warm up, And only after the event when you get to reflect, collect what you've learned, and think about what to do next.
