"In a world driven by digital interactions and endless hustle, one entrepreneur’s journey shows us that the simplest acts of companionship can make the biggest impact. A recent video reminded me of the essential need for genuine human connections. It featured an entrepreneur who transformed the simple act of offering companionship into a thriving business, earning over 3 crores in less than five years. Whether someone needed a confidant, a shopping buddy, or just a friendly presence for an elderly person missing their children, he was there to fill the gap and meet their emotional needs. This story serves as a powerful reminder that, despite our fast-paced, digital lives, the value of human connection remains irreplaceable. Sometimes, all it takes is someone willing to be present, listen, and care. Fortunately, many of us are not in need of such services because we were raised in a culture that prioritizes relationships. On the other hand, we are sometimes the ones undermining these beautiful connections with unnecessary egos and trival disturbances. It's important to realize that life is not just about work, chasing money, or achieving success. It's more about living happily with the people around us. If we neglect this now, future generations may need such services. Let’s think about it and give equal priority to our loved ones. While we all intend to, it's the situations that can damage these beautiful relationships. At the very least, let’s keep this in mind and continue making an effort". #HumanConnection #RelationshipsMatter #EmotionalSupport #WorkLifeBalance #ValueOfConnection #LifeAndWork #PrioritizePeople #Happiness #Companionship #FutureGenerations #MindfulLiving

What is the biggest factor that is hindering your growth? 🙌 When dealing with Self: - Do you have your unique identity - Are you spending time and money on gaining knowledge - Are you dependable for your family and friends - Are you seeking out meaningful social interactions - Are you increasing your economic connectedness 🙌 When dealing with others - Are you caring for your family and friends - Are you focused on saving money over the needs of your family - How many close friends do you have. If it's less than 2, is it because you haven't put an effort into gaining and maintaining friendships - How often do you meet your friends. If it's less than a month, it's too less - Can your family and friends rely on you for support - Are you always complaining about others 🙌 When dealing with strangers - How giving are you with your time, money and knowledge to help others - Do you easily donate your old clothes and other articles - Are you comfortable letting go of these items in still working condition - Do you feel empathy for others We all have a circle of people that we are connected to and are responsible for. Your circle includes 4 quadrants: You, Your Identity and Yourself Your Close Family, Friends, Neighbours, Colleagues, Clients, Vendors - People you are meeting on a daily, weekly or monthly basis Your Extended Family, Associates - People you are meeting occasionally Others We as humans are social animals and our ability to grow socially, economically and emotionally is connected to how far we extend ourselves. Social isolation is on the rise. Covid was another element added to the mix. Extroverts can handle their social side easily. It is the introverts that need to ensure they don't restrict their social interactions to a bare minimum. Next time before you complain about others. Take a step back. Think. Is this related to something that YOU DIDN'T DO. Take steps NOW. Correct. Reboot. Connect. Book a Discovery Call with Vriin C, Soul Leadership Guide and level up your life. More and more, I’m critically aware of the importance of living with an open #heart. ❤️ My logical (and active!) brain likes to take over. But often, my heart knows something more than my brain. This year is my second #Mothersday. Becoming a mom was a critical step in opening my heart. This transition has not only (gradually) made me more open, but it has made me stronger and more couragious. Surprisingly, having a child has also made my marriage better. In the last year, I have also: - Consulted with tech startups and local business owners - Bought a #laundromat and renovated it - Continued working with women business owners on their personal and business growth (the two are very related) - Received some great coaching from the amazing Eleanor Beaton - Launched my Laundromat Marketing Made Easy Masterclass In 2022, my goal was to have more growth and stability in my business before having a child (haha). What I have learned is: 1. There is never a “good” time to do something. If it’s a “yes!” just do it. 2. Pray over your business and each employee individually. Ask God for what you need and know that the solution might look different than you thought it would. Be open. 3. If you want to be more productive, don’t try to manage your time. Focus your energy instead. 4. Prioritize your “rocks” - you can only have a few rocks at one time. Daily challenges will distract you and eat your time if you don’t have clarity about the most important things. 5. Running a local business remotely is hard, even if you know what you are doing. Plan ahead and make sure you have a good team in place. 6. Know that you cannot force things into motion. Life unfolds on its own time. Identify your next step and commit to it. This will help you create momentum. Living from your heart will help you accomplish each of these things with more ease and open doors you haven’t even thought about. If you are an entrepreneur or aspiring entrepreneur who is looking to grow in #business and are looking for your next step, drop me a ❤️ and let’s chat! I know I’m not the only one who has changed. YOU have too! What have you learned over the past year that has shifted how you approach life and business?

When I announced that I would no longer be scaling my company, I was terrified that: — I would no longer be taken seriously here on LinkedIn. — Existing clients would consider abandoning ship. — My team's morale would tank. My sleep was awful the night before I had the post scheduled. I nearly deleted it multiple times. "Can I get a hug?" I told my fiancee. But I decided to do it anyway. More for me than anyone else. For catharsis. Closure. So that I'd no longer have to pretend to be more “successful” (whatever the heck *that* means) than I actually am. And because I wanted to walk the talk and show up more authentically. Here's what ended up happening: — I received dozens of supportive comments and DMs. — Clients reached out to say they appreciated my candor and courage. — Team members told me they were happy I was choosing to prioritize family and my mental health over money and reputation. In short: Folks were overwhelmingly... lovely. I learned several important lessons in the process: — Way more entrepreneurs than you'd think decide to build "lifestyle" businesses (the toxic hustle bros will tell you that's the ugliest word in the English language; 🖕 them). — There are no entrepreneurial gatekeepers. Each of us finds him or herself in unique circumstances, and the trial-and-error rite of passage that is finding the right work-life balance for you is deeply personal. — The community here on LinkedIn is wonderfully supportive and kind. Yes, there are exceptions, but they prove the rule rather than set the standard. — You're one out of 8.1 billion people here on Earf. Meaning 99.9999999877% of human beans couldn't care less about you. Which, to me, is liberating (Earf + beans is intentional; don't be correcting me 😅). — The more authentic and [tastefully] vulnerable you are, the more supportive people tend to be. Ditch the facade. Get real. Finally: I love you all. Really, I do. You have no idea how much your kind and gracious words have filled my heart. Thank you 🩶

𝕊𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕓𝕣𝕚𝕕𝕘𝕖𝕤 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕓𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖𝕣 𝕠𝕗𝕗 𝕓𝕦𝕣𝕟𝕖𝕕, 𝕔𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕡𝕒𝕥𝕙 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕟𝕖𝕨 𝕞𝕒𝕘𝕚𝕔 𝕥𝕠 𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕣𝕠𝕠𝕥 🔥 During the pandemic, I connected with someone through an intensive program that brought entrepreneurs together when most of the world felt disconnected. We discovered multiple touchpoints outside the program itself, and our shared experiences during those months created a seemingly meaningful and genuine bond. Back then, we celebrated each other's smallest wins, shared our fears, and created an invisible thread of solidarity. I’ve continued to watch her business grow, engaged with her content, and cheered her successes on quietly—believing that true connection transcends constant communication. So when I recently reached out on LinkedIn, her response cut like ice: "Please don't send me uninvited DMs again Tracey? I don't appreciate them at all." Moments later, she unfriended and blocked me. No further conversation. Just a permanent, digital wall of silence. Initially, the rejection felt like a gut punch. I questioned whether the relationship I thought we’d had wasn’t what I’d thought. I re-read my message to her, searching for anything that could have been construed as offensive, and came up empty. But just as quickly as it came, the sting subsided as I remembered something powerful… Not every connection is meant to be permanent. Some are seasonal, designed to teach us exactly what we need at that moment. 𝘊𝘰𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴: 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘵𝘩. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦. I’m actually grateful to her for blocking me, because it’s a reminder that I’m not who I was 4 years ago—not even close! People enter your life for a season, a reason, or a lifetime. And this? This was clearly a seasonal connection. With Mercury sliding into its pre-retrograde shadow and the waning moon inviting us to release what no longer aligns, this moment feels divinely timed. It's an invitation to declutter—not just our digital spaces, but our energetic landscapes. Some bridges are better off burned, and I’m happy to be creating space for the soul-aligned sisters who are waiting to step into my world. I'm no longer here to be palatable or fit into someone else's comfort zone, because my passion, mission, and purpose aren’t up for negotiation. When we outgrow connections, it's not a failure—it's growth. And sometimes letting go is the most powerful act of self-love. 💫

Is everyone else secretly winning at life? We all know that feeling, scrolling through social media and seeing picture-perfect lives. Dream jobs, amazing relationships, exotic vacations...it's easy to believe everyone else has it figured out, while you're stuck in the dark. But here's the truth: it's mostly an illusion. People only share the highlight reel, not the behind-the-scenes struggles. So instead of comparing your journey to someone else's carefully curated feed, get curious about your own path. What are YOU passionate about? What baby steps can you take today to move in that direction? Life is a beautiful, messy adventure. Embrace the challenges, celebrate your progress, and rewrite your own story. #comparisonisthethiefofjoy #yougotthis #lifelonglearning #ownyourjourney #entrepreneurship101 #linkedinjourney #growthmindset #50daysconsistencychallengewithtife Day 31/50....😎😎

What happens when your business is gone - and your identity goes with it? For so many founders, our work becomes who we are. It defines us. But what happens when that chapter closes? We are not what we do. Tying our identity entirely to our business can leave us feeling untethered when it’s gone. The reality is clear: • 49% of entrepreneurs experience at least one mental health condition in their lifetime (World Economic Forum) • 72% of entrepreneurs report poor mental health during major transitions (Harvard Business Review) • 81% admit they don’t openly share their fears, stress, or challenges (Startup Snapshot) When I built Prosper, being a founder was my entire identity. At parties, I’d introduce myself by what I did for work. Then one day, the business was gone. Our product was no longer mine to run. I wasn’t a CEO anymore. No one needed me. I felt completely lost - like my purpose had disappeared. It wasn’t until I reflected on my life outside of work that I saw the truth: work had consumed everything. Building the company felt like putting life on hold, borrowing time from my future self. That’s when I realized: you can’t wait until the exit to start designing your life - you need to start now. Here’s a quick exercise that helped me: • Draw a circle and divide it into 8 sections: • Play • Health • Money • Family/Friends • Partners/Love • Career Growth • Personal Growth • Spirituality/Mindfulness • Rate each area from 1 to 10: where are you thriving? Where are you running on empty? • Reflect: What needs your attention now? Right now, I’m focusing on Health. With two kids under three, sleep is the main goal - and some days, that’s enough. What’s one area of your life you’d like to focus on more? I’d love to hear your thoughts. #FounderJourney #personalgrowth #exitplanning
