Commemorating Ratan Tata: A Forward Looking Individual of Principles, Creativity and Humanity It is with profound sadness that we have to commiserate with one such sad news: the passing of Ratan Tata, who ever fascinated us so much. He was a leader in the true sense of the word a capitalist, an entrepreneur, and a philanthropist all in one. In his cosmopolitan triumph, the very center, Tata Sons embraced him not only with an empire that he developed throughout his life. Rather he espoused humility, integrity and kindness in the life of millions around the world. His efforts were aimed at expanding the company’s presence beyond the Indian subcontinent, while within the executed ethical policies and devote resources to the welfare of society. Business was not all that he did; rather he did much more than that. He was an activist in education, healthcare, animal rights and many other fields and balanced that with industry and society. It is today, a tribute in memory of a revolutionist, a humanitarian rather than a mere industrialist who is unfortunately no more, that we now give out.
