Hello , On 5th may I have completed the course from PW for the FTP training (NEET ZOOLOGY). After that I didn't even get any information yet about recruitement and I haven't recieved certificate for completion the course. I mailed lot of time but did not recieve any response. I have attended all the lectures, master session and all the DPP ,submitted all the demo which was provided by my .mentor and attempted the every test...After all that efforts I couldn't find anything from PW not even certificate .This is really very bad experience. In this entire program, we have been taken for granted a lot. We were told that 10 demo topics would be provided, but only 3 were given after 1 month. The feedback took a long time, and the number of master sessions promised didn't happen either. Despite all this carelessness, no one has been hired. We were not given any information about how many people were hired, Whether anyone was hired or not? This is totally waste of time. This is my honest review on PW FTP( Zoology) After this, it's all up to you. If you guys still want to join, then go ahead.

I’ve been in some teams and organisations who execute TNA’s well, and I’ve been present when some teams and places have not done it well. I have learned a great deal in both scenarios. Here are some of my observations on a TNA (Training Needs Analysis) when done well. If taken seriously it can yield the following results: - Highlight any skill gaps within your organisation/team - Assist in making sure all required areas of learning are covered - Help determine audience and focus on learning objective/s - Identify how training should be delivered, i.e self-paced (online), facilitated in- classroom - Prioritise and schedule when the learning needs to happen or take place Do you conduct a TNA? What are some of the things you want to get of out a TNA? ✍🏾 Comment and write your thoughts ♻️ Share if you think others might find this useful 💾 Save this post to find it later

"Thank you for your dedication to advancing higher education. I would like to respectfully share my observations from my experience delivering talks at numerous MMTTCs. I've noticed that online programs often lack engagement, with over 90% of teachers not actively participating. The effectiveness of these programs is compromised when teachers are not invested. Additionally, I've seen instances where MMTTCs prioritize personal connections when selecting resource persons, rather than focusing on the specific needs and caliber of the teachers. I've had the privilege of attending multiple orientation programs organized by the UGC under Dr. Deeksha Rajput's leadership, and I believe there is room for improvement. With over 110 MMTTCs, it's crucial to evaluate feedback from both participants and resource persons to identify areas where existing centers can be strengthened. I suggest shifting towards blended or offline learning models whenever possible, as fully online programs may not be as impactful. There are undeniable benefits to in-person interactions, including enhanced engagement and collaboration. While financial considerations are important, investing in education is an investment in the future, with returns in the form of knowledge, attitude, competency, and capabilities."
An online meeting was held on June 19, 2024, with the Programme Directors of Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centres (MMTTCs) to review the progress of the training programmes, attended by Prof. Manish Joshi, UGC Secretary; Ms. Rina Kouli, Joint Secretary of Higher Education, Ministry of Education; and other officials from the MoE and UGC. #UGC #MMTTCs #Education

During my time in school, Felix Boye (MNI YMC) designed our curriculum such that in our third year, we would gain onboard training and then return to complete our fourth year. I was impressed with this curriculum design, similar to the one used by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and other renowned maritime institutions worldwide. However, there was a significant oversight. Most institutions operating this curriculum own a vessel or have affiliations with shipping companies and country fleets for cadet training. Unfortunately, this was our biggest challenge... and it persists to date. Many #NMU #cadets struggle to secure placement during this one-year gap, particularly those studying #Nautical_Science. As a result, some waste resources on unnecessary paperwork and never set foot on a #vessel. Instead, they will manipulate the system to complete their #Industrial_Training defense in order to proceed for their final year studies. Despite signing memoranda of understanding with institutions like #Caribbean_Maritime_University and #Nigerian_Defense_Academy, the university lacks affiliations with #shipping_companies. I urge management to reconsider and strategize to address this critical issue, rather than adopting curriculums without thoroughly evaluating their pros and cons or considering our country's unique challenges. This oversight has catastrophic consequences and deserves prompt attention. focus on creating affiliation and signing contracts with shipping and maritime transport companies instead.

Teaching is more than just a profession, it's a profound responsibility to shape minds and transfer knowledge across generations. The role of a teacher, trainer, facilitator is particularly significant, as it involves not only developing others but also refining one's own approach to education. To truly excel as an educator, it's essential to be conscious of how we engage in the teaching process. However, this self-awareness may not always come naturally. That's why a structured approach, supported by mentors and guides, is crucial. With the right framework in place, such as the Standard for Continual Assessment and Development of Faculty (CADCF), teachers can continually assess their progress and evolve into more refined educators. A true teacher gradually sheds his/her ego, becoming a vessel through which knowledge flows freely and effectively. The CADCF aims to support educators on this journey, helping them grow into the facilitators and mentors that our future generations need. #TeachingExcellence #Education #TeacherDevelopment #Mentorship #CADCF #LifelongLearning
We are proud to introduce the Standard for Continual Assessment, Development, and Certification of Maritime Faculty (CADCF). This innovative and transformative framework ensures the continual upskilling of maritime educators, trainers, and instructors, thereby fostering excellence in maritime education. Developed by the research wing of ISF Group, CADCF establishes a new benchmark in professional development, offering a structured and effective system for ongoing growth and improvement. It provides comprehensive guidance on faculty selection, criteria, and proficiency enhancement, spanning from basic to advanced certification levels. Applications to CADCF opening soon. Stay tuned... The majority of MOUs we reviewed require that SROs receive training specific to the MOU and/or SRO position (37 MOUs, 76%), HOWEVER, less than one-fifth of MOUs required that SROs have training specific to the MOU and/or SRO position before interacting with students. This gap leaves room for uncertainty and missed opportunities to build trust and safety in schools. 🔑 Policy Recommendation: Districts must increase clarity around SRO training guidelines in MOUs to specify acceptable training providers, require essential training to be completed before engaging with students, and establish timelines for additional training and refreshers.
