Is your agency ready?? Upcoming legislative changes will soon place new accountability on recruitment agencies by shifting the responsibility for Pay As You Earn (PAYE) from umbrella companies to the recruitment agencies that supply workers. This shift makes it critical to ensure your payroll provider is fully compliant with current and upcoming regulations. Here are key issues to watch out for with your payroll provider: - Incorrect Payment Schemes: If your payroll provider is paying Limited (Ltd) instead of PAYE when required, you’ll be liable under new rules. - Real-Time Information (RTI) Compliance: A payroll provider that does not pay RTI is non-compliant, and this will impact your agency. HMRC confirmation of no RTI due does not confirm that your provider is paying RTI correctly. - Unbalanced Rebates: If the rebate from your payroll provider exceeds their service fees, you may be at risk. If you want guidance on how to identify a non-compliant payroll provider, you can email our compliance team on [email protected] We can help you do this payroll thing, PROPERLY☑️
