Simplicity Comes First: Crafting Logos with Purpose 🎨✨ Designing a logo doesn’t require sophisticated tools or complex ideas. In fact, the best designs often start with something incredibly simple. Here’s my process: 1️⃣ Sketch It Out – Begin with pencil and paper. Get your ideas flowing without overthinking. 2️⃣ Digitise Your Vision – Use tools like Photoshop or Illustrator to bring those sketches to life. 3️⃣ Simplify and Refine – Stick to basic shapes and forms. A minimalistic approach not only creates clarity but makes the logo timeless and adaptable. ☑️ Take a look at my latest design (watch the video!) and see how simplicity + creativity = something impactful. Remember, great logos don’t need to shout. They need to communicate! ♻️ Repost or share this to someone who needs a 🍩 donut... Sometimes being a designer is like being a magician. You take vague phrases like “Make it pop,” “Add some wow factor,” or my favourite, “Just make it look professional,” and turn them into something tangible. But here’s the twist. Clients think the magic happens instantly. Nope, that “simple” logo took 12 hours, 30 font options, and a lot of tears. Then, the feedback is always a joy. Can you make it more modern but vintage? Clean, but not boring. Edgy, but corporate. Sure, let me just invent a new design style. And let’s not forget, Why is it so expensive? My nephew could do this for free on Canva. Great, call him up. Design isn’t just about making things pretty; it’s about problem-solving, storytelling, and creating experiences. But for some reason, everyone still assumes we just play with colors all day. To my fellow designers: how do you explain your value to people who think good design is optional? Share your survival tips—or your most absurd client request. Let’s keep it real in the comments! #DesignLife #CreativeProcess

Here are 3 of my go-to habits when I’m working on a project. 🚨 They’re simple but make a massive difference in keeping things consistent and efficient: 1️⃣ Margins on multiple artboards Working with different-sized artboards? Measure the width, divide it by 25, create a square in the top left and bottom right, draw a rectangle between them, and hit Command + 5 to turn it into a guide. Simple, effective, and keeps things looking sharp. 2️⃣ Scaling a vertical lockup For vertical lockups, I copy the wordmark (Command + C, Command + F), rotate it 90 degrees, drop the opacity, and scale the logo up until it fits perfectly. A quick trick for a balanced design. 3️⃣ Font sizing for brand guidelines For font hierarchies in brand guidelines, I start with 12pt for body text and multiply it by 1.618 (golden ratio). It keeps the document flowing and looking polished without overcomplicating things. Design’s all about making the process smoother and the results more impactful. 👉 If you’re a business looking to rebrand, visit nonstopbrandingagency.com 👉 If you’re a designer looking for templates, check out my store: https://lnkd.in/eSDqH2uz P.S. Here are 3 easy graphic design tips to elevate your next project: 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞: Don't clutter your design. Use negative space (empty areas) to guide the eye and make key elements pop. It creates a sense of balance and professionalism. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝: Colors evoke emotions. Research color psychology to choose a palette that aligns with your message. For example, blue conveys trust, while green signifies growth. 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐢𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐒𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐲: Avoid overly complex layouts and fonts. Focus on clear hierarchy (what viewers see first) and easy-to-read text.
