Being part of the team and partnering with UCSD to help make this happen is still a highlight of my career. Now more than ever, it's critical that companies and organizations are driving real change to make science and research more environmentally friendly. We can't afford to see the levels of waste (both resource and hazardous) that have historically been requirements to drive groundbreaking discoveries. There have been tremendous advancements in reagents, consumables, and equipment used for research to ensure they are more sustainability minded over the last decade and I can't wait to see what's to come in the next 10 years. The research community is up to the challenge to drive discoveries in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way as we look to the future. #sustainability #science #research #environmentallyfriendly
