Becoming a successful blogger boils down to doing simple things patiently for a while. Never try to take shortcuts with this process or you will also skip the success that comes with skipping the steps. For example, although short updates may work on social media you will begin to understand that at least publishing a few long form updates here and there and targeting everything draws people from these sites to your blog. Another mistake to keep in mind involves joining big groups and plastering your business links to these collectives. Publishing only short form content and promoting your business to large, untargeted groups never builds exponential success.
