I would add... "Most of the time. Sometimes it doesn't. And when it doesn't you should be able to have peace that you have done what you could and then strategize how to optimize and adjust moving forward." Coach Wooden had a lot of great quotes to this effect: "Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you made the effort to become the best of which you are capable.”
