While I’m not shocked to see fashion, beauty and sports brands utilizing TikTok as a larger part of their social media strategy, this movement signals two larger themes. 1. Brands are expanding their social media footprint to go where their consumers are spending more time, showcasing the necessity of a social media manager to be obsessed with their customers/audience. 2. Social media marketers need to always be utilizing data to help make strategic decisions.
