Gratitude like this makes what I do so rewarding! 🌟 Re-sharing a wonderful reflection from one of the participants of my recent workshop series, "Managing Work in an Agile Environment" that I conducted for team members from B dynamic Logistics. As an Agile coach and an advocate for strong analysis practices, it’s incredibly fulfilling to witness participants connect with the concepts, and gain practical insights that transform the way they approach their roles. Over 5 days, we explored critical skills like understanding types of requirements and work, writing effective stories (user, job and enablers), crafting detailed acceptance criteria (using objective, declarative statements or using Gherkin syntax), backlog refinement, estimation, techniques to order work (grouping and ranking), and facilitation of Scrum ceremonies—empowering team members to become true enablers of value delivery. Knowledge on Agile frameworks and mindset alone doesn't make a team Agile. A lot of challenges in teams boil down to requirements and work identification and management. This is an aspect I strongly advocate for and these are techniques, and practices coming from the thought process put forth by IIBA. Seeing this participant's enthusiasm and realization of their role's impact on collaboration, efficiency, and delivery highlights the purpose of these workshops. Thank you for sharing your experience Thara, and I can’t wait to see the positive change you bring to your team! #moments #gratitude #thankful #impact #agile #iiba #work #betterwaysofworking

Business Analyst

As a member of the B dynamic Tech Team, I had the privilege of participating in a 5-day workshop on "Managing Work in an Agile Environment," facilitated by the renowned Agile coach Rumesh Wijetunge from Business Agility Tune Up (Pvt) Ltd. The tactful blend of theory and rationale was truly eye-opening for me as a Business Analyst. The game-changing knowledge I gained has inspired me to refine my skills as a key player in the team, making me realize the gravity of the role of a Business Analyst in; ▪️ Capturing a user story to breaking it down into effective splits, removing uncertainties for development and QA teams ▪️ Crafting detailed acceptance criteria, bringing the business and tech teams on to the same page ▪️ Grooming the backlog to prioritize tasks, balancing the business needs and the tech team's velocity ▪️ Estimating stories to plan sprints effectively, to deliver value on time without exhausting a team ▪️ Facilitating Scrum ceremonies to build collaboration and alignment within the team This workshop not only strengthened my skills but also taught me the importance of working collaboratively in an Agile framework. Grateful to our facilitators B dynamic Logistics, Rumesh Wijetunge, Business Agility Tune Up (Pvt) Ltd., and our team for their commitment to continuous improvement! Looking forward to putting these learnings into practice and contributing to our team’s growth! 🌟
