All things on toast part 3 Asian Crispy Fried Eggs on Toast Serves 4 Not really a recipe but I know you guys would ask for one anyway! Ingredients Around 16 cherry tomatoes, quartered 1 onion, finely chopped 6 - 8 green chillies (depending on heat level) A little neutral oil (I use sunflower) 8 eggs Light soy sauce (I use Kikkoman) Cracked black pepper Method 1. Mix tomatoes, onion, and chillies in a bowl. 2. Heat cast iron or non-stick pan with oil. 3. Add 1/4 of tomato mixture and fry for 1-2 minutes. 4. Crack 2 eggs, fry until bottoms are crisp and yolks are runny. 5. Drizzle with soy sauce, a little toasted sesame oil, black and white toasted sesame and a sprinkle of chopped coriander. Repeat another three times ane serve over toast and enjoy! #allthingsontoast #crispyfriedeggs #brunch #simplerecipe

Classic French Beef Stew and Mushrooms Ingredients: 1 lb beef chuck, cut into cubes 1 onion, chopped 2 cloves garlic, minced 2 cups beef broth 1 cup red wine 2 carrots, sliced 1 cup mushrooms, sliced 1 tbsp tomato paste 2 tsp thyme Salt & pepper to taste 2 tbsp flour Directions: Brown beef in a pot with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside. In the same pot, sauté onions and garlic until soft. Stir in tomato paste, thyme, and flour. Cook for 1 minute. Deglaze with wine, then add beef broth. Return beef to the pot. Add carrots and mushrooms, cover, and simmer for 2 hours until beef is tender. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 1. In a large saucepan over medium heat, cook bacon until the fat is rendered & the bacon is crisp, 10 mins. Using a slotted spoon, remove bacon; set aside. 2. Drain the bacon drippings, leaving approx. 1 tbsp. Stir in zucchini, carrots & onions. Cook until the vegetables become tender, about 10 mins. Add the garlic & cook until fragrant, 30 secs. 3. Stir in 7 cups of water, beans, chick peas, tomatoes, peas & bouillon. Bring vegetable mixture to a boil. Reduce heat to medium low & simmer, covered, until the flavors come together, 15-20 min. Garnish with bacon & parmesan cheese, if desired. Goya.Com

One of my favorite soups! Hot & Sour Soup Yield: 2 servings (1 lean, 3 green, 3 condiments) Total Time: 15 minutes 4 cups water 4 oz. fresh shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, thinly sliced ¼ cup cider vinegar 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar 15 oz. firm tofu, cut into thin strips 1 cup bamboo shoots, cut into strips 3 eggs, beaten 2 scallions, trimmed and thinly sliced ½ tsp cayenne pepper ½ tsp ground black pepper Directions 1. In a large soup pot, combine water and mushrooms, and bring to a gentle boil. 2. Stir in the cider vinegar, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar. Add the tofu slices and bamboo shoots; stir gently. Lower the heat and simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes. 3. Pour in the eggs in a very thin stream. Count to 5, and stir a few times slowly. Garnish with scallions and season with pepper.

Caprese Wraps. These soft tortillas are topped with pesto and then stuffed with fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Just like the classic salad, but in a hand-held wrap! https://lnkd.in/evvRHAgP Serves 4 INGREDIENTS 4 wraps of choice, such as tomato-basil, sun-dried tomato, spinach, and/or whole grain 1/2 cup prepared basil pesto 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced 1 cup sliced vine-ripened tomatoes Fresh basil leaves 2 tablespoons balsamic reduction, or balsamic glaze Salt and freshly ground black pepper INSTRUCTIONS Arrange the wraps on a flat surface. Spread 2 tablespoons of the pesto down the center of each of the wrap, to within 1-inch of the ends. Top the pesto with the mozzarella, tomato slices, and basil leaves, arranging everything down the middle. Season with salt and black pepper. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over top. Fold over one side to cover the middle, roll in the sides and continue rolling up. Slice in half and serve.
