In recent Indonesia, IKN or Ibu Kota Nusantara the brand for the new capital of Indonesia has been discussed and criticized amongst urban planners, urban designers, environment experts, green activists and politicians. This controversial policy from the Indonesian government and President Joko Widodo has inflicted heated debate regarding the urgency to settle a new capital city in Kalimantan the largest greenery island. In Kalimantan, the problematic issues for instance land reform, illegal mining, illegal logging, and the potential decrease of pristine forests will be massive problems for the new government under newly elected President Prabowo because of the cost of this new development. Yet, we still put new hope that this development will leverage progressively for the people and nation. 

We anticipated this would happen. We started talking about it since late last year. The signs were clear the predictions were correct. The 4th global mass coral bleaching is upon us. Now we need to make informed decisions to manage this well. This picture was taken a few days ago at Pulau Pemanggil, Johor. We see that the state of the Earth is becoming increasingly concerning, with air quality worsening. This time, I took the initiative to create content to encourage the people of Jakarta to use public transportation, which can reduce carbon emissions, such as Transjakarta, positively impacting air quality. Not only that, this content also invites the community to walk and use bicycles.
