📢 New E-Invoicing Requirement from 2025 – Prepare Now and Drive Digital Transformation in Your Business! Starting January 1, 2025, a significant change will impact all businesses and self-employed professionals in Germany: the mandatory capability to receive electronic invoices. This regulation marks an important step toward digital transformation, making B2B invoicing more efficient and transparent. Here are a few key points to keep in mind: 🔹 E-Invoices vs. PDFs: An E-Invoice is a machine-readable document that can be automatically processed by software. It saves time ⏳, reduces errors ❌, and streamlines the entire invoicing process – from creation to payment 💰. 🔹 Understanding Formats: Familiarize yourself with the standard formats ZUGFeRD and XRechnung. ZUGFeRD is commonly used in B2B, while XRechnung is required for public sector transactions. 📄 🔹 Finding the Right Software Solutions: From sevDesk to lexoffice and Billomat – choosing the right software not only supports the transition to E-Invoicing but also enables process automation and digitalization. Flexible pricing plans 💸 and user-friendly interfaces make it easier, especially for small businesses, to adapt to this change. Even though transition periods extend until 2027, it’s recommended to prepare early and adjust your processes. This way, you secure competitive advantages and benefit from the efficiency of digitalization in the long run. 🚀 👉 For more information and details on implementing the E-Invoicing requirement, read more at https://lnkd.in/da6PrfKR!

Are you ready for the upcoming e-invoicing requirement in 2025? From then on, e-invoicing will be mandatory in B2B. What does the e-invoicing requirement mean? Above all, it means that companies must be able to receive and process e-invoices in EU-compliant formats. This is already raising questions for many companies. Assuming that your supplier sends you an e-invoice in XRechnung format, then you as a company must be able to handle it. Now, you might think that your system is able to process XRechnung invoices – after all, the manufacturer assured you of this. But here’s the thing: not all XRechnung invoices are the same! 💡 In your case, it turns out that it is a special, industry-specific sub-variant of the XRechnung. This variant is EU-compliant, as it should be, but your system won't work with it because it simply doesn't understand this specific variant (other formats such as ZUGFeRD also have different variations...). So what now? 🤔 You can consult with your system's manufacturer to see what options are available for adapting your system accordingly. Spoiler alert: in most cases, such adaptations are rather cumbersome and costly. And above all, the next time a supplier uses a different format that your system may not be able to process, you will face the same problem all over again. How about this: instead of spending an eternity tinkering with your system, solve the problem cleverly and elegantly by using middleware. A middleware works like a kind of translator and is able to transform a wide variety of data formats, so you no longer have to worry about the various e-invoicing standards in the future. 🌞 With a so-called message-oriented middleware, you can not only receive and send e-invoices, but also other business information, such as orders, delivery notifications, order confirmations, etc. So, middleware helps you to digitalize all your business communication :) And we are happy to help you find a suitable middleware solution for your company – making e-invoicing difficulties a thing of the past.
