🏎️💡 Monday morning scroll revelations on social media got me thinking about the fascinating intersection of data and Formula 1 racing. 📊💥 Intrigued, I delved into the depths of the internet to uncover the intricate ways data shapes the high-speed world of F1. From optimizing performance to crafting winning strategies, data is the driving force behind every split-second decision on the track. 🚀 Teams analyze a myriad of metrics, from tire degradation to engine performance, leveraging insights to gain that crucial competitive edge. But it doesn't stop there—data isn't just for the teams. As a fan, I was amazed by how technology enriches the viewing experience. Real-time data visualization brings the excitement of the race to life, offering deeper insights into the action unfolding on the track. 🎉📈 So, next time you're watching Formula 1, take a moment to appreciate the role data plays in shaping the sport we love. It's not just about speed—it's about the science behind the speed. 🏁💻 #MondayMusings #Formula1 #DataDriven #RacingInsights

Excel is a JOKE! 😮 The Excel list was a joke. Impossible to navigate and impossible to update. - James Vowles, F1 Williams team principal. All its data was added in Excel, EVERYTHING! As an example, when Williams has to rebuild/fix the front wing, they need answers to questions like: -Which items are available? -Where are they in the factory? -Does it need prioritizing? -When is the part inspection date? -Has it passed inspection? -How long until completion? -And much more! Tracking 1000s components, managing, using, and updating it - is deemed to fail! AND it did! 😥 Data is key! An easy to manage data platform (whether mini or enterprise size) is a must! Please don't make the same mistakes! 😉 Want to brainstorm about how we could potentially guide you in your data journey? Just connect! #Formula1 #Excel #Microsoft #Dataculture #Datastrategy

The data and the drivers may be fictional, but the analysis powered by JMP is very real! During last week’s Formula 1 British GP, the filming of the upcoming F1 movie starring Brad Pitt continued 🎥 🏎️ Mirco Bartolozzi took the opportunity and created this analysis showcasing the speed difference between the two differently set up cars, illustrating very well that you can have a lot of fun visualizing data in JMP 😉 #YesJMPcan #JMP #Formula1 #DataViz
