I coach CEOs and share insights here to help you lead with impact much sooner.

I used to say yes to everything. But now, I protect my time. Now, you might say: “You have the luxury to say no because you’re established.” “It’s easy for you to decline because you have options.” “You wouldn’t have success without saying yes first.” The truth is → I learned that saying no means: • Protecting my energy and focus • Creating space for what I love • Prioritizing what truly matters (You’d be surprised just how much I turn down) This is “success” for me → Living with intention, not obligation. Don’t get me wrong... I still love helping others. And I still care about opportunities. But I’ve learned to value my time. There’ll always be more requests to fulfill. There’ll always be more tasks to complete. There’ll always be more opportunities to chase. I’m not obsessed with doing everything. I’m obsessed with doing what matters most. Just a reminder to guard your time too, my friend… Say yes to what matters!  ♻️ Share this with someone who needs it. 🔔 Follow Ramkumar R for more insights. #ramsabode #coaching #ceocoaching

Totally get what you're saying, Ramkumar! It’s crazy how much more productive and happy I’ve been since I started guarding my time. Quick story: I once turned down a high-paying gig because it didn’t align with my goals, and instead used that time to develop a new skill that’s now paying off big time. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Being a people pleaser means you respect and trust the world more than yourself. It drains a lot of energy and deprives you of authenticity Ramkumar R
