General Manager - SAP Signavio, SAP LeanIX

DAPs go across any application. That is the nature and meaning of such platforms. We acquired Signavio 3 years ago and continue to be strong and support in non SAP landscapes. We acquired LeanIX in November 23 and remain focused on supporting our customers in their enterprise architecture across any application. Of course we will always leverage that we are part of SAP and make sure our SAP customers get the best possible service for these applications. But at the same time, to remain successful in these transformation related markets around process, systems, people and data at SAP we fully understand and acknowledge that we have to provide end to end capabilities across any landscape. And that is what we do and will continue to do. We are actually even overinvesting in these areas to ensure our continued success. End of story! Some DAP providers are cynically reaching out to our customers, spreading FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) about our continued support for third-party applications. Let me be clear: WalkMe™ will continue to support third-party applications, just as we always have. Our upcoming partnership with SAP will make us even more innovative and better suited to support enterprises globally than any other provider. As stated in the press release, “Both WalkMe and SAP remain committed to supporting our customers, across all applications — SAP and non-SAP.” Please share this with your teams, like, comment, and spread the word so it reaches our entire community. WalkMe remains dedicated to driving your success! Rouven Morato | Gadi Krumholz | Dan Adika

Ofir Bloch This too shall pass... we have been hearing the same about Signavio since the acquisition. Magic Quadrant by Gartner validates our strategy. Best in the market period. SAP landscapes or not. We walk with Walkme for the same reason - best in the market for any vendor.

This is a smart deal, it but isn't transformative. It helps solve a problem of SAP's own making. Given SAP's trials and tribulations with user experience since, gosh early R/3, this will be welcomed by the users and especially SAP's salesforce. SAP's own DAP capabilities were inadequate to the task, and Walkme is the market leader. SAP should graciously and speedly sunset its own DAP efforts (enable now). The deal was relatively expensive, but it will not take long for this to be an easy upsell for the SAP field. SAP's Post Merger Integration competence has developed significantly since the deals of a decade ago. Both LeanIX and Signavio seem to be thriving. Selling into non-SAP customers is unlikely to be a long term priority, but in the enterprise the extended SAP footprint is vast. Most SAP customers run plenty of non-SAP software that requires a DAP. There are some mild, gentle GTM synergies with LeanIX and Signavio. SAP has an interesting history with Israeli acquisitions, so I will watch this with interest. It does add an extra dimension to the M&A dynamics. While it isn't SAP related, the advice I provide for customers here applies equally. https://thomasotter.substack.com/p/tuck-in-and-bolt-on-m-and-a-is-rarely
