An amazing evening was had by all celebrating #bhm2018 at the #uniofsurrey. A big thanks to ex-footballer Clarke Carlisle and Olympian Colin Jackson who were my guests at the Black Men on the Couch event. They openly and sensitively shared their challenges and successes with mental health, wellbeing and race. What a night! Thank you to both Jen Ratnayaka (events) and Ella Mitchell (Comms & PR) for their tireless efforts in helping to put this together.

You interviewed two great athletes and gentlemen I have loved watching in the world of athletics and football. Your Black men on the couch series is a fantastic movement and an inspirational platform to inspire change and progress.
