Hello Everyone, This week we will get acquainted with Machine Learning and learn about data preprocessing. As a data scientist, understanding machine learning is essential. Machine Learning is a part of AI that enables machines to perform human-like capabilities. Machine learning is highly valuable as it can replace human roles, such as in the example of autonomous vehicle driving. Some important elements in machine learning include: - Learning from data - Algorithms - Models - Training and Testing - Generalization - and continuous Learning Data Preprocessing is the process performed on raw data to prepare it to become cleaner, structured, and ready for further analysis. Some stages in Data Preprocessing are: data collection, data cleaning, data formatting, and data aggregation. In the data science process, Data Preprocessing takes up the most time. A feature is the basic building block in data; it can also be called a column/variable.
