Why would someone want to spend 7 hours in the open ocean on a 14 ft board with no paddle or any other assistance except their own strength? Tyler set a goal to train, qualify and compete in the Catalina Classic late last year. At first it was a thought. The thought became a vision and goal, and in the end he created purpose and meaning for himself. It started with a Why. Being in the water is part of who this young man is. He started surfing when he was 8. Being recognized as part of an elite group of athletes to compete in this event is part of his Why. Having a purpose and a WHY changes a person. I am blown away by the transformation in my son the past six months. What's your WHY? #leadership #coaching #transformation #positiveintelligence #mentalfitness #predictiveindex #coactive #team #highperformingteams

The Catalina Classic is less than two weeks away. Sunday, August 25. Only 130 waterpeople qualified for this elite event.
