If you want to test whether PPC (pay-per-click) advertising is worth it for your business, here's how to work it out; 1 - Determine how much revenue a new patient/client can bring you (average monthly spend x months they typically stick with you) This gives you your average lifetime revenue From this, deduct service/product delivery and background costs This gives you your average lifetime value 2 - Calculate your conversion rate on leads How many leads (emails, phone numbers, in-person enquiries) turn into customers/sales for you? From this, calculate how many leads you need to convert one person For example, you might need 10 leads to get one sale 3. What can you pay for a lead? How much can you afford to pay for one lead based on the average lifetime value of your customers and your conversion rate on leads? Once you work out this number, try to run ads to get leads for less than this price. If that sounds realistic, give paid advertising a try! #healthcaremarketing #healthcare #marketing
