Just implemented a dynamic setup for AWS CloudWatch Alarms on Lambda functions using AWS CDK! 🚀 It dynamically creates alarms for multiple Lambdas, linking each to an SNS topic for immediate alerting on errors. This setup enhances monitoring and ensures quick responses to issues, showcasing the power and flexibility of infrastructure as code. Check out how leveraging this technique in the CDK can streamline your cloud operations! ➡️ Read the blog: https://lnkd.in/eHq69cz9 #AWS #CloudWatch #Lambda #DevOps #InfrastructureAsCode

There are "Serverless Kubernetes" clusters (or at least that's what I like to call them). A few that come to mind are: ✅ GKE Autopilot ✅ EKS with Fargate The gist is that with one of these services, you no longer have to manage underlying Worker Nodes. Everything is managed by the cloud provider. This can be absolutely great in some environments, but not in environments where customization is important. For example, until just recently, you couldn't run a Service Mesh on GKE Autopilot and you still cannot run it on EKS Fargate. As with every abstraction layer, you have to abide by the cloud provider's rules. Keep this in mind when thinking about using one of the "Serverless Kubernetes" services. #kubernetes #devops #platformengineering

🚀 Day 45: Understanding Terraform! 🌍 Today, I took a deep dive into Terraform, the game-changer for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Here's what stood out: 1️⃣ Declarative Syntax: Terraform's HCL (HashiCorp Configuration Language) makes infrastructure setups easy to read and manage! 📝 2️⃣ Multi-Cloud Support: Whether it's AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, Terraform integrates seamlessly with multiple providers. ☁️ 3️⃣ Version Control: Track infrastructure changes just like code, ensuring consistency and collaboration. 🔄 4️⃣ State Management: Terraform’s state file keeps track of infrastructure, allowing for smooth updates without manual intervention. ⚙️ If you're interested in automating your infrastructure, this blog is for you.
