“If Zelensky doesn’t give us our gas, a serious conflict could arise.” - Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico. The only thing that Fico should get is a kick in a butt.

Get Slovakia 🇸🇰 and 🇭🇺 in the same bucket. Together 3.5 % of EU population, both net receivers of EU budget means, both with a boarder to 🇺🇦. Get them out of EU, being troublesome freeloading illiberal parasites not sharing European values. Get them out of NATO asap as both countries are in my view an immediate risk to European security.

Does Slovakia plan to attack Ukraine? Crazy to expect an attacked country will be transporting goods of the aggressor

This is probably complications after the assassination attempt, probably tell him if you do not bark, we will kill him next time finally.

Mr. Sheremeta, Slovakia’s reliance on gas transit through Ukraine is a legitimate and pressing issue, especially as Ukraine has indicated it may not renew the transit agreement after 2024. Fico, as prime minister, has a duty to address such concerns, even if his rhetoric sparks debate. Energy security is a complex geopolitical challenge that demands thoughtful and fact-based discussion. It’s surprising that someone who frequently calls for responsibility and transparency in international affairs would respond with such unbalanced rhetoric. Both Ukraine and Slovakia have the right to defend their interests within the framework of international law. Reducing this serious issue to inflammatory remarks undermines constructive dialogue and the very principles you often advocate for.

The EU needs to get off Russian gas. Unreal.

SK out of the EU ! Countries like SK and HU show clearly that the EU Union is not their place... let's these 2 countries rejoin their beloved russia.

High time such shenanigans are taken care of. Ukraine honored its contract even though it should not have done it. Now extending the contract is just madness and will simply not be forgiven nor forgotten. It is high time sanction side steppers are penalized for their actions.

The use of shadow tanker fleets and other vessels violating the oil embargo, transporting weapons and other ruZZian trade must be stopped. In addition to their illegality, they are uninsured or poorly insured and pose a threat to our coastlines, seas and oceans in the event of an accident, navigational incident or attack. Those may have to be dealt with at our taxpayers’ expense. All countries and waters along their routes are in danger, and especially in shallow waters such as the Baltic, Danish Straits, Kattegat, Skagerrak and the North Sea. The same applies to the Turkish Straits, Greece, the entire Middle East and other straits. This issue has been raised several times, but nothing happens. International organizations are ineffective, this issue should be addressed individually, without delay, by countries or groups of countries, if they are effective.

Scaring Ukraine today with some kind of “serious conflict” is like scaring a cat with a sausage 😁
