You want to learn new things but you are struggling to memorize them ? Well, there is a very powerful tool for this, supported by scientific evidences : 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 🃏 And the other good news is that I made a template for this - now featured by Notion ❤️ In this new version, your flashcards will be automatically presented to you at a specific pace, depending on your performance memorizing them. This spaced repetition will optimize your memory retention and lower its decline. I am using flashcards for quite some time now, and I find it very useful and powerfull. You can memorize a lot of stuff in a short period and remember it for a long time. The key to success is to study on a regular basis, so try to practice every day - it is not magical, if you don't do it seriously it will not work. You can download my material for free here : https://lnkd.in/emcbwVfd I hope you'll find it useful. You can find all the details on how to use it in the "How it works" section. If you think continuous improvment and learning are important - as I do, ask yourself the following question : "What is the next thing I need to learn ? "

74GB ! Research says the average person is hit with a "jaw-dropping 74 gigabytes" of information daily - that’s like watching 16 movies or reading 4 novels in a day! Ever feel like your brain is on overload? No wonder we struggle to stay focused. Developed by John Sweller in the 1980s and backed by decades of research, "Cognitive Load Theory" or "CLT" explains how our brains process learning and offers strategies to optimize retention and performance. It breaks cognitive load into three key types: 📌Intrinsic Load: The inherent complexity of the material. 📌Extraneous Load: Distractions or irrelevant information burdening our brain. 📌Germane Load: The mental effort invested in understanding and building new knowledge. So how can we apply CLT to make learning stick? If you’re a Learning Designer: 👉 Simplify: Strip away non-essential information. 👉 Use Worked Examples: Guide learners step by step. 👉 Leverage Dual Coding: Blend visuals with text. If you’re a Learner: 👉 Break It Down: Tackle material in chunks. 👉 Test Yourself: Reinforce knowledge through self-testing. 👉 Know Your Limits: Take breaks when overloaded. Mastering CLT unlocks a smarter, more effective way to learn—and thrive in today’s information-heavy world. How do YOU handle information overload? Drop your strategies below! #CognitiveLoadTheory #LearningDesign #LifelongLearning
