By 2050, Africa's population is projected to reach 2.5 billion, presenting both a challenge and an opportunity to transform its agricultural landscape into a global powerhouse for #foodsecurity. 🌍 Investing in African agriculture is an investment in the future, aligning with 13 out of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Yet, despite a shared political vision for African agriculture, global investment lags behind. African countries have committed to allocating at least 10% of national budgets to agriculture through the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Program, but the follow-through is lacking.
