A few days ago, the FIVB successfully launched the FIVB Volleyball Foundation. This is an important milestone for volleyball, as our sport, with around 900 million fans worldwide, can now ensure that volleyball contributes to the betterment of society as a whole. Sport has always been an integral part of human civilization, reflecting and shaping cultural values, fostering unity, and providing a platform for social interaction and physical well-being. Recognizing this profound impact, sports should spearhead initiatives that create positive societal change, promoting inclusivity, health, and solidarity. 🤝 In pursuit of solidarity and progress within the vibrant volleyball community, my presidential program aligns this transformative era with the CEV Solidarity Fund. This new dedicated body within the CEV is designed to serve as a support and empowerment mechanism, embodying our shared commitment to the growth and well-being of European volleyball. By embracing these values in our approach, we can collectively ensure that volleyball not only flourishes as a sport but also serves as a powerful force for positive societal change. 🏐 #Vote4Volleyball means #Vote4Society! 💯

A hugely important partnership aligned with our soon to be launched Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan. Volleyball is a sport that has gender parity when it comes to the player base but a very different picture when it comes to positions of authority such as coaches. Our partnership with FabLittleBag will focus on encouraging our affiliated clubs to have a fully stocked Fab Little Bag of products at every practice and game and easily accessible if needed. Equally important, the partnership will focus on education for coaches to breakdown any taboos and often awkwardness when discussing the subject. We are joining the ‘Period Supportive’ movement and would encourage other sporting system partners to join us. Individually we are strong, together we are unstoppable.
🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟 We’re so proud to share that Volleyball England is now part of the Period Supportive Movement! 🏐💪 By embracing this important initiative, Volleyball England is reshaping conversations around periods, ensuring women and girls can participate in volleyball with confidence—whether at grassroots or elite levels. 🌍✨ This partnership is about more than sport; it’s about fostering inclusive and supportive spaces where athletes of all ages and abilities can thrive. Together, we’re empowering young women to play the sport they love without hesitation, building a brighter, more equitable future for volleyball and beyond. 👏 Welcome to the movement, Volleyball England #PeriodSupportive #inclusivityInsport #VolleyballEngland #FabLittleBag #empoweredathletes #femaleathletes #femaleathlete #womenssports #girlsinsports #femalecoach #volleyball #periods #sustainable #ecofriendly #womanshealth #menstrualhealth
