Rodin Cars’ Post

Liam Lawson officially joins the Red Bull Racing F1 Team in 2025! After just 11 Formula 1 races, Kiwi driver Liam Lawson has been promoted to Red Bull Racing alongside world champion Max Verstappen. For Rodin Cars founder David Dicker, this milestone is the result of unwavering talent and determination he's witnessed firsthand. "Liam came to Rodin Cars in 2018 before racing in Europe and drove a Formula 3 car on our track," Dicker recalls. "His natural speed was clear, and we followed his journey through Formula 4 that season." Rodin Cars stepped in to provide financial support, helping Lawson continue his climb through the junior ranks. When his second F2 season was at risk, Dicker invested over $1M to keep his dream alive, forging a partnership between Red Bull and Rodin Cars in Formula 2. “Seeing Liam succeed with a championship-winning Formula 1 team is incredibly rewarding. It's a testament to his relentless hard work,” says Dicker. Dicker's passion for nurturing talent extends beyond Lawson. Rodin Cars also supports Louis Sharp Motorsport, another rising Kiwi star, who recently won the British GB3 championship after claiming the GB4 title the previous year. Rodin Cars' commitment to Kiwi motorsport runs deep, including a partnership with Motorsport New Zealand to develop a "Formula Ford to Formula 1" pathway. From everyone here at Rodin Cars, a massive congratulations to you Liam! We have loved our journey with you and it really is proof that hard work, support, and raw talent can achieve greatness! #RodinCars #LiamLawson #F1

A big thank you to Rodin Cars for showing the deserved support to Liam, and for other young talent. I see the Rodin logo adorning one of the Formula SAE entrants cars at the Australasia Championship. The benefits that flow from such support are huge. All the best to Liam, and to Rodin Cars.

What an amazing day for New Zealand Motorsport, Liam Lawson and everyone who helped get him to the pinnacle of global motorsport. I can't wait to see him on the track next year! Might have to ask Santa for a helping hand to get to a race now.
