The ability to touch many points of the funnel provides valuable insight for our customers. What for example if you knew that one source required your recruiters to screen 2x the candidates to find one qualified over another source you thought was better value? Programmatic Job advertising gets you more applicants at lower cost per applicant, but that's more work for your recruiters, not better outcomes. Not just is human time optimized, but the cost is also reduced. Maybe next time you're negotiating advertising budgets with job boards you'd like this data on your side?

Getting the best ROI from your recruitment advertising investments is essential, now more than ever. Tips below: Ways to optimise your Indeed advertising budget include: 1. Limiting spend on jobs we know that will absorb a large portion of your budget. 2. Have you been disillusioned by programmatic job advertising and why it doesn't seem to fix your recruiting funnel as pitched? It all sounds good, cast the net wider, reach more audiences, measure costs per click.... "Reduce your CPA!!" When the difference in cost between one source and another is <$2, why fill your funnel full of quarters when the same number of $1 fit? The cost in recruiter time to convert an applicant into a pre-qualified candidate is 10X your CPA, so stop the madness and find a partner that Real insights into your funnel that reduce your costs and increase revenue come FREE OF CHARGE to Glyde Talent customers, helping them BEAT THE COMPETITION every day!

Looking to optimise your Indeed advertising budget further? A few things you can action today. 1. Pause individual jobs that have enough applications. 2. Remove jobs from campaigns that you have enough applications for 3. Place a spend cap on certain jobs that you know will deliver a good number of applications. Pausing individual jobs, removing jobs from campaigns, and placing a spend cap on certain jobs, will result in 'wasted' budget being redistributed across other jobs, resulting in an increase in applications for these roles. Happy Recruiting. 😀

These are the top three recruitment marketing sins I see over and over again: 1) You're selling You're selling your services to your clients and candidates. And that's not what they want. They want content that adds value and addresses the pain points and the struggles that they're facing. 2) You're using the wrong channels. You really need to identify where your target audience hangs out. What media are they reading and engaging with? What social channels are they going on to source content? 3) You're not measuring what's working If you're producing content, you're engaging in PR activity, you need to measure it, and you need to measure it against your objectives. Is your aim to bring in new clients? Or is it to reach a particular demographic of candidates? Failure to measure means that you're not tweaking and refining your content based on what does and doesn't hit the mark. Are you guilty of any of these?

People ‘buy’ when they are ready and from people they know, like and trust 🙋♀️ There is nothing wrong with consistently posting your job adverts, though if that is all you do on social media, in your emails, or on your website, you have a problem. Why? Because you aren’t approaching people in the way they want to connect with you. You might attract people who are ready to act now, though that is only 3-7% of your total market. Not much, is it? Instead, start spreading your net wider by building awareness as you add more value and watch how your results start to change 🙌👍💥 #buildvalue #marketing #Recruitment

Just had discovery call with a company that's looking to scale their paid media department. We uncovered they are working with 3 other agencies on contingency, local search targeting a limited pool of candidates, tried to get details into the weeds/day to day of the gig, the response we got: we just need resumes, no questions answered. Conversation was cut short, we wished each other good luck, hung up and moved on. Is this what recruiting has come down to in 2024? A race to the bottom? No wonder hiring managers/companies struggle to see the value in a Talent Partner when "competitors" do a shitty job and sign shitty contracts to please their MD's. We can all get agreements signed, but only a few can hit home runs. We need to do better. Thoughts? Atriz Mike Ferguson
