As we enter into the holiday season, I am reflecting on the incredible journey that Vista Equity Partners has had over the past 24 years. We have been fortunate to work alongside some of the most talented and dedicated individuals in the world—our investors, portfolio companies and, of course, the Vista team. Our success has never been about any one individual, it’s been about collaboration and working together to achieve what others might think is impossible. Whether it was pioneering the software LBO, leading the transition to SaaS or navigating the challenges of the pandemic, we’ve always been a firm that adapts, innovates and progresses. Today, we are leading the charge in #GenAI and its potential to transform enterprise software. This Thanksgiving, I am profoundly thankful for many things; my parents, my wife, my children and those who have believed in Vista and who continue to help us move forward. Your belief in our mission and your unwavering commitment have been the driving force behind everything we’ve achieved. I hope you all take time to rest, recharge and reflect on what matters most to you. With gratitude, Robert
Thank you for sharing this inspiring reflection, Robert. Your emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and adaptability resonates deeply, especially in today’s ever-evolving business landscape. Vista’s journey is a testament to what’s possible when vision meets dedication. Wishing you and the entire Vista team continued success and a meaningful Thanksgiving season. 🍁🤝
Appreciating conversation with Chair Vista EP and philanthropy partners on **What Matters The Most***. One topic for many in America today is the Health Extension Mission of rising BioEconomy America. NSF.Gov and one other agency have identified 5 University Anchored BioEconomy Hubs USA to go forward with sizable investment and initiatives to enable tools, skills and infrastructure. But philanthropists have a large role to playe to enable inclusivity and motivation among many families at these BioHub s and goes struggling with escaping poverty to enable STEM k12Education pathways to Bio high pay career paths. Conversation with philanthropists/VC for my Fairfax/Alexandria,VA bio Hub needed. Talk ok. Thanks.
Congratulations on serving so many ppl for over two decades. I look forward to the coming years and your next move! I think your posts are inspiring and informative. As a practitioner (research practitioner) that is grateful to serve marginalized and often invisible populations, reading about all your good work is encouraging to me.

Hello Mr. Smith, My name is Jvon Howard and I’m the founder and owner of Novaj Corp, which is an Illinois based company. I would like to know if I could set up a meeting with you to present my invention idea for a possible investment opportunity for both parties?
Like you, I would be lost without the support and love of my family and community. Grateful for this opportunity to pause and reflect on that 🙌
So pleased and thankful to hear that life is going well for you. I am thankful to be alive and kicking. Remember in tha we have Morehouse honorary degrees in common. Season’s greetings EG

4dI am so very thankful for my parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and extended families. I am blessed to have the opportunity to fellowship with them this holiday. I recall Thanksgiving Day twenty one years ago when I ate Thanksgiving dinner with one friend and a whole bunch of strangers in a dining facility in war-torn Baghdad in what became known as the “Green Zone”. There are so many things that I am grateful for and want to share. Today I am particularly thankful that I have been blessed to begin sharing memories in the anthology, “Our Journey From Girls to Women”.
