"Web3 marketing is so different from Web2 marketing." Is it, though? 🤔 Maybe this mindset is why Web3 is full of scammy, cookie-cutter projects with inflated follower counts on X, mediocre websites, and zero real purpose. Expensive KOL budgets, money flushed down the toilet. No, your protocol isn’t revolutionary. It’s just… boring. Another recycled copy. If you can’t answer, "What unique problem does this solve (and for whom)?" then your marketing strategy is going to struggle to make you stand out —whether you’re in Web2 or Web3. Because in the end, successful marketing hinges on asking and having answers to the RIGHT questions, and those questions are industry-agnostic: – Who is your audience? – What problem are you solving? – How will you guide them from awareness to loyalty? – Can you communicate it clearly - Does your marketing tell a story? Knowing the answer to these questions will 100% inform your marketing strategy. It’s not about what YOU want to create; it’s about what YOUR AUDIENCE wants and needs. Are there differences in the details? Sure! But knowing those differences is pointless if you haven’t nailed the absolute fundamentals. And no, posting memes doesn't count as marketing fundamentals (though they are incredibly effective when used right and in line with brand identity or part of an "intern" persona) Ready to spar in the comments! 🤣 🚀 Follow Roberta Kovacs to learn all about Web3 Marketing & Sales #web3 #web3marketing #marketing #sales #businessdevelopment
