Exciting news: Evie Autocharge is on its way, set to revolutionise EV charging with a hassle-free, simple experience—no apps or cards needed. So, what is Autocharge? It seamlessly combines multiple steps of the EV charging process into one, initiating the session directly after connecting the plug. After setting up Autocharge in the Evie app, the technology recognizes users' cars and details, eliminating the need to open an app, select the charger, and start the session manually. Our Head of Public Charging Bernhard Conoplia said, “We have introduced this feature after the majority of Evie drivers cited Autocharge as the most preferred new feature that charging networks could could offer. We know this is a game changer for drivers, enabling simplicity in their charging experience across the Evie network”. We’ve launched this exciting feature to select frequent Evie users to ensure a seamless experience before a broader rollout. Here's How We Transformed Public EV Charging 🔋📱👀 Our client wanted to make charging electric vehicles in public areas easier and more convenient. They aimed to achieve this by improving their existing app and adding new features. 👉 We created a mobile app for both Android and iOS that offers a complete solution for EV and PHEV owners. With just one registration, users can find nearby charging stations, choose their preferred charger connector type, and start or stop charging directly through the app. The app also keeps track of charging sessions, provides billing details, and includes helpful FAQs. This made the EV charging process effortless and user-friendly.
