❌ Why I'll never tell you to just send a bunch of emails... It's no secret - I think email is one of the most effective marketing and fundraising tools your nonprofit can use. But in a world where it takes, 10, 12 or even 20x of seeing something BEFORE someone will take action (eg: donate) - just sending emails is never going to cut it. For 100% of the #fundraising campaigns I run for clients - we take a multichannel approach that includes: 📫 a hard copy appeal or post card 📧 emails (lots of them) 📞 phone calls 📲 text messages 🤳 social posts across a few platforms According to a study by NextAfter, a direct mail only appeal converts at 14.9%, and email only appeal converts at 1.4%, and a combo of both direct mail AND email - a WHOPPING 23.9% conversion rate.
