Are you a job seeker that uses SEEK to find job opportunities? Here is an excellent tip that I promise will make a HUGE difference and get you more successful applications & more likely to be head-hunted... ❌ DELETE YOUR OLD RESUME'S FROM YOUR SEEK PROFILE! ❌ As great as SEEK is, when you have multiple versions of a resume on your profile, you run the massive risk of having your OLD resume sent in your application instead of your newest resume... 😨 Believe me - it happens waaaaay more often than you would dare to think! So, do yourself a favor and remove this risk altogether by: 1) Deleting all of your old resumes from your SEEK Profile🫳🗑️ 2) Uploading your newest resume to your SEEK Profile📑✅ You can now sit back, relax and apply to jobs in confidence 🌞 No need to thank me.🦸 Welink. Top companies do not necessarily hire people who are looking for jobs 😮 They hire the right candidate by directly reach out to them via LinkedIn or through referrals. This is why, how do you portray yourself on LinkedIn, your portfolio and on your cover letter is extremely critical. I know a tons of people who made a career switch last year, even when they were not looking for jobs. All via LinkedIn inbound requests. Question is - are you investing your time and attention for your perception to let recruiters directly reach out to you? Follow me, Vijay Chandola for more such videos. I’ve seen a lot when it comes to people thinking they can BS their way into being marketable. I’ve witnessed many “failures” and “successes”. A common theme among the “failures”? An unwillingness to change. People often resist changing what their resume says, expanding their confidence, or accepting the truth about where they stand. They consider a lot of things generic. But there is no generic way to market yourself. It’s your own experience, and you need to tailor it both to your background and the industry you’re targeting. If you don’t do that, finding a job will be an uphill battle. That’s just the simple truth. I don’t make the rules; it’s just how it is. The landscape of the job market has changed and will continue to evolve, but these parameters will always hold true. Tailor your resume. Build your confidence. Accept where you are and be willing to improve. That’s the path to success. Get a free resume review at careeraresumes.com #opentowork #CareerAdvice #ResumeTips #JobMarket
