𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒊𝒕. 🎤 With great public speaking skills comes the power to inspire, motivate, and occasionally, make a room laugh at your humorous jokes. Yes, I know it’s December, and this post is as late as someone trying to find their seat after boarding is complete. 😄 But hey, good things take time—like the courage to post about your September achievements in December! As part of United Airlines September of Service, I had the honor of visiting Basai school to 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧 some incredible students on the art of 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠. From dodging filler words ("uhm, like, you know?") to unleashing their inner souls, these young talents reminded me why speaking up matters. Why is public speaking important, you ask? Because "a powerful message needs a powerful voice." Whether it’s persuading an audience, pitching an idea, or delivering the next viral TED Talk, this skill opens doors—and sometimes hearts. A huge shoutout to United Airlines for encouraging us to give back and create meaningful connections. Here's to breaking comfort zones, inspiring confidence, and perhaps next year, posting on time! 🎙️✈️ 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑾𝒂𝒚 ✈✈✈ #SeptemberOfService #UnitedAirlines #PublicSpeaking #BetterLateThanNever #GivingBack

Here I am presenting the behind-the-scenes of my first talk show experience.. "From engineering to language training, my career shift sparked criticism from family, friends, and even from my parents.. But I stood firm on my decision. Now, as the lead organizer of a TEDx-style talk show, I reflect on a journey where my command over english, accent, and body language weren't that much perfect, yet I spoke before a wider audience. And What I have to tell you is that "ANYONE CAN DO THIS". Anyone can overcome obstacles and step into the spotlight. You don't need a perfect accent or a good command of English to do this.. That is acquired through practice. It's not a big deal. It's all about cultivating a deep passion for language. If you have that much passion for language then everything will fall into place.. Beyond flawless delivery lies the magic of embracing the language, living in its essence, and sharing experiences. love the language, live in it, and witness the magic unfold. Mistakes may happen.. but don't give up. Every word you speak is a path to success. #Firsttalkshowexperience #CareerShift #TEDxtalks #spokenenglish #publicspeaking #passion #milestone #englishtrainer #esltrainer #britfort #britfortacademy #trivandrum

Language app not helping you overcome your fear of speaking up in English at work? That’s because it’s training your language skills and not your fear of speaking. Instead, try working directly on your anxiety. Once your anxiety is in check you’ll naturally find that more of your language skills are available to you and you remember more vocab. You’ll also find that you’re more flexible to finding work arounds for explaining things where you don’t have the vocabulary you need to explain something. Don’t believe me? Give my short video course a try and see for yourself. https://www.rfr.bz/llninvv

If you experience anxiety speaking up in English, learning more English isn’t going to help. That’s because your anxiety isn’t caused by lack of grammar or vocabulary, it’s caused by your fear of failure and criticism. Yes, improving you language skills can improve your confidence, but if you’re an introvert or HSP and dislike speaking up, and networking in your native language, this is likely your biggest obstacle, not the missing vocabulary itself. Instead, try working directly on your anxiety. Once your anxiety is in check you’ll naturally find that more of your language skills are available to you and you remember more vocab. I was shivering. Few days back, I gave an audition for some public speaking event and after I was done, I was shivering.. this gave me numerous thoughts 🔻 A good public speaker even with over 50+ speeches and 500+ audience feels that anxiety and nervousness. It is very normal. 🔻 But one thing that pushes you back out of this phase of anxiety is your confidence and that dominance in your voice. Honestly, I applied this trick there. 🔻 Have faith in yourself and maintain your body language. I'm sure Divas Gupta Sir would agree to this points. Do share your public speaking experiences. #stage #stagefear #publicspeaking #communication #personaldevelopment
