Quality over quantity - are we running out of internet data to train AI models? It "is becoming increasingly repetitive, redundant, and, perhaps most alarmingly, insufficient for the next leaps in AI innovation ... One of the greatest challenges we face in AI today is not just the acquisition of data, but ensuring that the data feeding our models is diverse, unbiased, and reflective of real-world complexity". "The grand vision for AI agents is a system that can execute a vast range of tasks, much like a human assistant." For the future AI agents to be effective, it needs to know not only the user's preference, but also how to carry out tasks in, mostly likely, other systems. Such sensitive information will need to persist, accessible on-demand, and well-guarded. I suspect that very soon such a specialized platform will emerge. Maybe it's time to look at blockchain again. #AIAgents #Blockchain #optwol

This post very nicely summarizes many of my own thoughts on the current AI hype. And similarly, it feels weird to just have escaped the Blockchain hype (in which I crazily was working on my PhD, which got dropped in favor of joining AtomicJar, Inc.
