𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱- 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 The London Market is letting its competitive streak get out of hand in a 'typical' display of 'aberrant' London market behaviour, says Chubb CEO Evan Greenberg. The behaviour will derail the market's profit gains, Evan declared in an article from Intelligent Insurer.  The place of the London Market as a global leader has been widely debated. In The Big Question in July, AdvantageGo asked whether the London Market was maintaining its role as a global leader.  The London Market employs 60,000 people and contributes nearly £50 billion to the UK economy – 2% of GDP overall, an increase of 26% on 2020.  But it faces challenges from rising markets, such as Singapore. Other markets like Bermuda are growing faster.  It is a mixed bag, but London International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA) CEO Christopher Croft said the London Market finds itself in a good position.
