📉 Neglecting the implementation of analytical and measurement objectives is still the issue. ⁉ Why? Everyone knows the power of data and its potential to build a competitive edge, right? Not quite. It's easier to take quick actions and see immediate results rather than implement analytics, derive insights, and then act. Establishing the right analytics is a longer process and often gets abandoned during ideation. In the short term, you won't notice much difference. In the long term, you lose. A recent report from The Marketing Centre, based on responses from 2,000 companies in the UK, highlights key areas for improvement in SMEs' marketing strategies. 💡Consider these insights ⬇ - Only 27% of SMEs set clear objectives when using specialist marketing services. - Just 41% measure the profitability of their customers. - Only 44% use specialist services and only 62% find them valuable. - Over half (56%) of those who use specialist services don't set clear objectives to measure value. - Alarmingly, 71% don't conduct any form of marketing audit. 🗝Implementing the right tools and processes to better measure marketing performance and make informed decisions can give a significant edge over competitors.
